Our FILTERS and DIFFUSIONS are coated on both sides of the polyester base for more accurate color control, better consistency and longer lasting color. A computer monitoring system is capable of making minute changes to ensure that colors match control samples to obtain near perfect results. The process is similar to that used by Lee Filters.

Other filters are either single sided coated or "deep dyed," a process that adds color to polyester pellets prior to extrusion. Once the extrusion process starts, no corrections can be made. In our tests,

Kino Flo Interview Select Kit $2450.00

The "Select" System is a soft key or fill source that can be used instead of diffusing light through fabric or bouncing light off foam core, as with conventional HMI or tungsten sources. Advantages; Lower power consumption, Cooler operation, Better control of light with barn doors and louvers, Uses less set space, Light can match to daylight, tungsten or existing fluorescent lighting without filtration. This lightweight fixture makes a day of multiple set ups quick and easy. At the end of the day, lamps can remain in the fixture for storage and transportation. To change the color temperature, select the appropriate lamp, balanced to 2900 Kelvin, 3200 Kelvin and 5500 Kelvin.

The 300W Plus Fresnel is designed to gather as much light as possible and direct it through the 3.2" (80mm) low expansion, borosilicate Fresnel lens producing a soft, even field of light. The 650W Fresnel features the same lens, reflector, housing and power cord as the 300W Fresnel. The beam angle in the flood position is 52 degrees, and a narrow 14.5 degrees in the spot position. As an open-faced fixture, the Arrilite 1000 is designed for a wide range of film and photographic lighting applications. The chimera makes the 1k into a gorgeous soft box for a soft key or fill.
