Stephen began working as a TV & Film Electrician and making experimental films, before becoming a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst MA. He found work both on-set and in rental companies. Stephen has worked on every type of project over the past 30 years. Passionate about lighting and service, Stephen officially began Kaye Lites Inc. in 2000 and began sharing his knowledge. Stephen considers his business to be amongst his other proudest achievements: his two amazing children, providing stable jobs, anonymously donating bone marrow to help someone survive cancer, and caring for the elderly. When not working as a gaffer or giving back to the community, Stephen enjoys taking improv classes, camping, and teaching woodcarving with friends.
